| Well, you have been thru quite a lot of Lotus projects, and are probably wondering what does his wife ever ask of him??? :-) Or, you are thinking ..."she must be a saint to put up with all of his..." My wife asks little, but a while ago, she wanted a Grandfather clock..so she found just what she wanted in kit form from Emperor Clocks. The clock was ordered, paid for on lay-away, and when paid in full, it was shipped to us in September, where it quickly assumed a storage postion under our bed..after all, there was a Lotus sill project taking shape at the time :-) After the sills were finished (and of course, I snuck in a rear side marker lite changeout!), I got busy on the long neglected clock kit...well, let me tell you..if you ever want one of these and have some basic woodworking skills, by all means get one of these kits!! The quality is exceptional and I did not have to recut or for that matter, sand even one piece of the kit (well, very quick and lite finish sanding was all)...They have a variety of styles and choice of cherry or oak in most clocks....they offer beveled glass kits for each clock (ours has that) and for about $1140, here's an example of what you get..... |
