| The heat shields need to be removed for hand access and to prevent damage. In the next picture, PB Blaster is sprayed on all of the nuts to be removed. The nuts and studs are all stainless, so there should not be any frozen ones to deal with! |

| Removing the manifold nuts with what proved to be the only wrench needed to be used in the somewhat limited access..a 12mm Craftsman Pro Series stubby combination wrench...it has long and somewhat narrow "jaws"...just what was needed as there is little clearance between the nuts and the manifold runners.... |
