| Here's another Brit car that I did some work on..a 1968 TR250 which is owned by a friend of mine. About 2 years ago, I did some metal work along with a total bare metal repaint of the car ...2 base coats and 3 coats of clear...hand sanded and buffed out. The color: Lotus Midnight Blue! I am especially proud of the stripe...I laid it out by hand in about 40 minutes from written distance measurements only and sprayed on the silver base color. It was then clear coated along with the rest of the car. I painted this one after I did the total bare metal repaint of my XJS. This Triumph was my last venture after I gave up the restoration hobby. |
