| On 3/25/01, I removed the front wheels and painted the brake calipers. I also noticed some surface rust starting around the weld joints on the upper A arm, so I primed the affected areas (and more!) with Corroless Primer followed by Eastwood Silver Cad paint (just the "inside" surface of the arms). The calipers were painted with Plasticote Red Brake Caliper paint, and the inner wheel well resprayed with 3M Rubberized Undercoating, PN 08883..this stuff dries quickly and looks like a paint, not tar! The look is OEM! I also bought new tyres 225/50ZR15's to replace the OEM 195/60R15..the wider look and lower height of these tyres looks great!! |
