This same measure was carried to the front side of this rear wheel, and a feeler gauge (graduated in mm) is inserted to measure the difference (ie, toe in).  A pretty simple method and definitely worth the time it took to make the parallel bar alignment system!  The total cost of the metal and the clamps was about $100...I also have a hand held camber gauge to measure the rear camber..

I needed to send along a picture of the car to Dave Gurgel for the Lotus Loves Lime Rock site, so I looked around and it dawned on me that all of the pictures that I have of the car do not show it on the ground!!!!  So here's a few to show you that it actually doesn't sit on the lift all of the time!! :-)
