| Well, I wanted to check and /or align the rear end of the Lotus, however since I don't exactly live in Lotus land, no local would even touch an alignment on a Lotus! So, necessity is the mother of all invention...I went to the manual and read about a parallel bar set up to do the job..sounded simple enough and since I got a 100 on my Geometry Exam in Highschool (some 30 years ago!!), I figured what the hell! What follows is an adaption of my Kwiklift into a parallel bar alignment machine!! |

| Next is a shot of the brackets that I fabricated as well as the parallel bars...note the extensive use of C clamps!! The brackets are clamped to the bottom edges of the ramps, and the corners of the parallel bars are clamped with 90 degree corner clamps. |
